Panama – the Pan-American tropical paradise connecting the two immense land masses of the Americas. It has an incredible amount of variety to offer from such a small country. With Pacific and Caribbean beaches, cloud forests, coffee farms, indigenous communities, remote paradise islands, to the metropolis of Panama City and the technological tour-de-force of it’s famous canal… Panama has a lot to offer and is not overrun with tourists like some of it’s more famous neighbours.
This 10 day tour gives you a great overview of some of the highlights of this diverse country, starting with a tour of it’s impressive modern capital city where huge skyscrapers shimmer over the glittering blue Pacific Ocean, a visit to the famous canal and then the beautiful historic district of ‘Casco Viejo’ (Old Quarter). From there we take you to a region that couldn’t be more different – the laid back Caribbean province of Bocas Del Torro, where boats are the main mode of transport between islands full of lush rainforest, colourful houses and paradise beaches – here you can enjoy great seafood, relax on the perfect beaches, scuba dive, see dolphins, explore nature reserves and much more. You’ll wish you had more time to soak in the laid back atmosphere here, but Panama still has many more surprises for you, and so from here (after stop back at Panama City) you will visit the Embera indigenous community deep in the rainforest of the Chagres National Park. The next day you’ll visit the famous and beautiful San Blas Islands home to the Indigenous Guna community to learn about their unique way of living away from the trappings of modern life before heading to a wildlife rich cloud forest to see the El Macho waterfall to finish off this feature-packed introduction to Panama.

Budapest’s reputation as a food capital dates largely from the late 19th and the first half of the 20th century and, despite a fallow period under communism, the city is once again commanding attention. So, too, are Hungary's excellent wines – from Eger's complex reds and Somló’s flinty whites to honey-sweet Tokaj.
